Unlike our tune-up services that are scheduled in advance, a service call is very hard to get a guaranteed time. We need your flexibility in arranging a visit. The more flexible you are, the quicker we can typically get to you. Ideally we ask that someone can be there with a lead time of 15-20 minutes or less. It is very hard to guess when a technician opens up as all jobs we go on can vary between 30 minutes to 3+ hours depending on repairs and other complications. We do not mind calling you with advance notice (< 30 mins). On the next page we'll ask what your availability is like, please be as detailed as possible.
While it is hard to estimate the cost of a service call, because we do not know what repairs are going to be done. During regular business hours our service call charge is $85, which is the cost of a truck to roll to your house. From there any other labor or repairs are additional. We use flat rate pricing so all repairs we can tell you the cost and get your authorization before doing the repair. You can accept or decline the repair. Payment is required at time of service.
Our goal is to get your furnace/boiler working again at the time of. Sometimes that is not a possibility due to part availability or you do not wish to put the money into repairs, and instead replace the unit. If that is the case we do offer backup electric heaters for the heating season to help keep your house warm until it can be replaced.
