My Furnace tries to start up, but the flame only stays on for a few seconds then stops. It keeps doing this!
It sounds to us as you are experiencing a problem with your flame sensor not reading properly. There is a rod that sticks in the last burner of the furnace, and it needs to see a flame signal for your furnace to operate. Over time this sensor gets covered and needs regular cleaning, which is why we strongly recommend furnace tune-ups annually (as this is cleaned at time of tune-ups). This is something you can try to clean it yourself (there are youtube videos available on this) but do not use abrasive material like sand paper.
