Problem

I ran out of oil, got refilled and now the furnace will not start.

Possible Cause:

Running out of oil is not good, you always want to keep at least roughly a quarter in the tank. When you run out of oil the sludge from years of oil make it to the bottom of the tank, and when the tank runs dry that sludge makes it into the oil lines, and causes problems. We recommend getting a professional out there to bleed out the drain lines and make sure it is up and running (getting the system up and running isn't always cut and dry when sludge/sediment is involved). Get on a keep-fill program if you aren't currenlty, it's a great way to ensure a tank wont run dry.
